Riceberry

Riceberry is a newly registered rice variety of Thailand by cross-breeding between Hom Nin Rice (full of antioxidant properties) and Fragrant Jasmine Rice. Riceberry has been the most popular brown rice known for health-promoting properties. It contains three times more iron than other varieties and also a high level of antioxidants such as beta carotene, gamma oryzanol, vitamin E and folic acid (folate).
 
Riceberry has potential as an effective agent for neurodegeneration and memory impairment in Alzheimer’s disease.
